Join the NJAEP and Dr. Amelie McAndrews, DAVDC-Eq, for a hands-on wetlab reviewing nerve blocks commonly used in dental procedures.
Dental nerve blocks are an economical and effective way of facilitating extraction procedures or periodontal treatment.
Maxillary, mandibular, infra-orbital, and mental nerve blocks will be reviewed. Attendees will be able to practice nerve blocks on cadaver specimens. If time allows, some basic extraction tips & techniques will also be covered.
