Member Benefits

  • At least 3 continuing education events per year to be held within NJ either free or significantly discounted.  These events can be applied towards the CE requirements for NJ, PA, and NY veterinary licenses via our NJVMA affiliation.

  • Members professional contact information, counties of practice, specialties, areas of veterinary focus, and availability for first call responders are published on the website for public dissemination.

  • Collegial interactions and professional networking between the equine veterinarians of NJ.

  • Continuous updates of current events, legislative changes, and pertinent issues as it relates to veterinary medicine and the equine industry.  Direct affiliations and a relationship have been developed with the NJ Department of Agriculture, NJ Division of Animal Health, NJ Department of Health, NJ Veterinary Medical Association, Rutgers University and the Equine Science Center, NJ Equine Advisory Board, American Association of Equine Practitioners, and the Northeast Association of Equine Practitioners.

  • A unified voice and a platform to cultivate professional decisions as it relates to the industry.


Membership Information

 ·         Individual memberships will continue to be available for a fee of $100.

·         The first year of individual membership is free for those individuals within 2 years of graduation from veterinary school. 

·         Veterinary technicians, assistants, support staff, students, etc. are included under the Veterinary Practice Membership structure and are encouraged to become a NJAEP member, however they still must register to be included on the membership list.  These individuals will not have voting privileges nor may they hold office positions within the organization.
